The Influence of The Social Environment on The Interest in Learning Akidah

Abstract

The social environment is another human being around students, which consists of the family environment, school environment, and community environment. While interest is a permanent tendency to pay attention and enjoy an activity, for example, it can be seen from the pleasure in following the lesson, the willingness to do the task, the awareness to learn without being asked, and attention when the lesson takes place. This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence between the social environment and the interest in learning morals, the research taken in this study was the VIII grade students at MtsN 8 Magetan.. This type of research is quantitative with the object of Class VIII students at MtsN 8 Magetan. The population of this research is all students of class VIII at MtsN 8 Magetan with a total of 183 while the sample is 20% of the population, namely 45 students taken by cluster sampling technique, namely 32 students from class VIII A and 13 students from class VIII B. Data collection through techniques questionnaire, observation and documentation. The data collected is related to the relationship between the social environment and the interest in learning morals by using the product moment correlation technique..The results of this study include (1) the social environment of class VIII students at MtsN 8 Magetan is already good. It is known from the results of the study which showed that the highest percentage was in the good category, namely as many as 21 respondents (47%), (2) the learning interest of class VIII students at MtsN 8 Magetan was already good. It is known from the results of the study which showed that the highest percentage was in the good category, namely 22 respondents (49%), (3) There was a significant influence between the social environment on the learning interest of class VIII students at MtsN 8 Magetan.
